Upside Down Internship Application

We are so glad you're considering being a part of the Upside Down program within the Graffiti Network as you seek to transform your own life and community. Please thoroughly read through the steps below before beginning the application so you understand all that is required to complete your registration, and to make sure you have the appropriate expectations regarding the entire process.

All applicants must fundraise for their position. Please review the guidelines we have prepared to help you budget your time in New York City and financially prepare you as you begin to visualize your fundraising goals.

All applicants must submit a fully completed application including a photo of the applicant, background consent form, and references. Photos are uploaded at the bottom of the online application under the "Required Documents" section.

All applications must include 3 referrals for the applicant, one of which must be a minister. You can share the online link with the people you are asking to participate with you.

All applicants must complete a background check. You can either fill out the secure online form or download and submit by mail to: Graffiti 2 Community Ministries, PO Box 541559, Bronx, NY 10454.

If your application is approved, you will be required to schedule a face-to-face interview. Though we prefer for applicants to come in person, we understand this may not be possible and also allow Facetime or Skype sessions. During the interview you will be asked questions about your faith and beliefs. We will also share with you our Code of Conduct.

The Graffiti Network will handle your information with the utmost care and privacy. We want you to be as authentic as possible when filling out our applications; answering truthfully no matter how difficult the question may be.
